Which Camera should i look at buying?

Canon EOS Rebel T3
Nikon D3000
Sony Alpha A290

These are the three cameras I'm looking at. I feel like the D3000 is not the right option. But not too many people online have made much noise about the Sony. I was hoping somebody here did and could provide me with some detail or opinions.

IMO, Canon is always a very safe bet. I have a Canon right now and LOVE it.

As a Life time Canon owner I prefer Canon. But you need to compare from a handling standpoint as to comfort and locations of controls. Pick the one YOU like the best, between Canon and Nikon, forget Sony.
