Where can I register for a warranty for my camera?
Yesterday, I bought the Nikon D5100. The guy at the store said I have to register online to get the 2 year warranty. So of course I went on the site. They didn't have a warranty registration, however they did have a product registration. I signed up for that. But I still don't have a warranty and I don't know where to get one. I'm assuming it's the Nikon site, but they don't have any links or anything.
What should I do?
Registering your D5100 online is All that you need to do. This is From Nikon's website…
"No registration or "warranty" card is included or needed with a Nikon D-SLR or Coolpix camera. Keep your original, dated proof of purchase from the Authorized Nikon Inc.dealer in case warranty service is ever needed."
Product registration is all you need.
