What's next after 3 1/2 yrs of nikon d80?

Any suggestion? I don't plan to take movies out of my camera.two reason to upgrade are: i wish to have more than 10 megapixels, i also feel i have more than 11 focus points. Any comments are welcome.

The D90 was the next version of that level camera and then new D7000 is next.

Just because the camera has a video feature, does not mean you have to use it.

Just use the next version (D90 discounted or D7000) camera as you did before, using your fine D80

More megapixels are needed for image manipulation and gargantuan printing proportions. What you can do with 12MP, you can do with 6MP if you know exactly what you're doing. The best next step is to spend the next 7 years getting more lenses and lights for a real upgrade. After that you start looking for a new body and make the D80 as your backup.
