What's my first step for photography?

I have a nikon d3100 and i love photography. I have the 18-55mm lens and the 55-200mm lens. I love taking picures of my friends and family, and they are really good about letting me.what's the next step i can take or the next product i should invest in? Flash? (which one?), Indoor backdrop? Indoor lighting? New lens?
also what is a good thing i can do to learn how to use photoshop elements?

and i'm in school so interning at a photography company is not an option!

The first thing to do is, LEARN THE BASICS OF PHOTOGRAPHY…

i doubt very much that you have learned all there's to learn about the basics…

once you have learned them, you might be able to see what you need…

Subscribe to "Shutterbug" magazine. It's for amateurs and professionals and has lots of ads and info about equipment and techniques.

Passion is useless if you can't express it fully. You need the technical knowhow to do that. Stop loving and start learning. You can enroll yourself in a photography class or teach yourself through the internet and books. You already more than you need to learn.
