What photography tips are for looking hot for guys?

I'm a dude, a friend just a Nikon D7000 camera. I got to look sexy and fit. To help promote vegan fitness and look hot and stuff.
I heard lighting is very important (can you explain), and some one use amber lights whatever those are. Simply put what photography techniques can we used to look hot. What works? Thanks

Lighting is important because good use of light & shadow helps to define shape & form.

If you want to show good muscle definition, then use lighting at a glancing angle to the body (ie side-lit). Bare flash will give a harder look to the light, softbox will give a softer look.

You need lights OFF camera - on camera flash will be frontal & give no shadows at all.

'Amber' lights? Colour of the light is not important - if you want to emaphasise body form, shooting in black & white is better.
