What kind of lens would be best for shooting a sweet 16?

So i'm going to a sweet 16 and i'm bringing my camera. I have 3 lenses and i'm not going to bring all 3 of them.
i have the following
55-200mm ( which i'm not going to bring )
18-55mm f3.5-5.6
and a 35mm f1.8

I don't have a flash of any kind except the flash that's built on the camera.
i use a nikon d3000.So what lense would be better? I don't know what the lightning is going to be like.

also i'm not doing this for anyone just my self and the birthday girl.

Either your 18-55, or your 35mm 1.8. The 35mm should let you shoot inside without the need for a flash.

The 18-55 will be more flexible. It will allow you to get indoor group shots as well as zoom in to catch facial reactions. You'll need the flash. If you don't have an external one, just grit your teeth and bear the resulting deer-in-the-headlights look.

35mm f1.8. Too bad you don't have a flash… You could go and get a pop up flash diffuser.

The 18-55 will cover most of the range you need. If you want to use natural light indoors, the 35mm 1.8 may help too. That said. With a dx camera like you have, I would try to find an 18-135 or at least 18-105.
