What is the Largest Photo Memory Card I Should Use for a Nikon D50?
I have a Nikon D50 and I bought a 4GB memory card and it didn't work. Since then I have been using only 1 GB memory card, which is fine for local photos. However, next fall, I will be traveling abroad again and I would like a card with more memory. I have been told I could use up to a 32GB memory card, if it was the right brand. Anyone with a D50 have experiences using a larger capacity card? Capacity and Name of card, please.
The D50 doesn't handle SDHC. There were some 4gb SD cards but those were rare and many people reported errors with them. A 2gb SD card will work fine. I'd suggest buy several of those will they're still available. Remember to format in camera before use

The D50 uses SD memory cards, and SD cards only go up to 2GB. You might contact Nikon at 1-800-NIKON-UX (1-800-645-6689) to see if there's a firmware upgrade that would allow SDHC cards (which can go up to 32GB)
