What is the difference between nikon d90 and the d7000?
I wanted the nikon d90 but now they came out with it d7000 should i get the nikon d90 and the nikon d7000
-D7000 has full 1080p HD video, while the D90 only has 720p
-D7000 is a 16MP sensor, the D90 is 12MP
-D7000 has 2 SD card slots, D90 has one
-D7000 has a top shutter speed of 1/8000, the D90 only 1/4000
-D7000 has 6FPS, D90 has 4.5FPS
-D7000 goes up to ISO of 12, 600 while the D90 has a max of ISO 6, 400
-D7000 has Auto Focus with Video, while the D90 doesn't
-D7000 = $1, 200 and the D90 = $900
VG has a good list.
One other significant difference. The D7000 offers 14bit color. The D90 does not.

If you have the money to get them both, then I would get neither, and go with a full frame censor and get the Nikon D700. Or D3's.
In additon to VG's list, the D7000 has a magnesium alloy body with fairly good weather sealing (still… Don't use it in the rain or dunk it), while the D90 is only plastic.
Also D7000 has 38 points auto-focus
