i already have a sony alpha 330 but i'm interested in getting another DSLR as I'm studying photography and it is a great interest to me. I see one of these cameras are cheaper but do not see the difference.could someone please tell me?

Looks the same to me. Some places like Adorama sell US and Grey Market products, so the non-US model is cheaper. If you are looking from two sources, then there may be a price difference.

One the 55-200mm lenses has one with a VR (vibration reduction) option, and the other without the VR option.

That would make the price difference too. The camera, and optics are exactly the same otherwise.

I'd recommend investing in the VR option (the first one), it comes in handy for stability, especially on long zoom lenses like these.

This Nikkor lens is low dispersion glass and therefore a bit more expensive than the other Nikkor lens below. The low dispersion glass prevents lens "flair" under most conditions. I have this Nikkor lens and there are times when it's the only lens you have to carry. Very versatile! The Vibration Resistant feature comes in handy on those long telephoto shots when you're not carrying a tripod.
