What does RAW mean? How can i make a RAW photo?
I have a Nikon D3000
This is all explained in the instructions that came with your camera. If you can't find your instructions book, download a copy from the Nikon website.
Raw is the data strait off the sensor, when you shoot Jpeg, the camera converts this into a usable image, but for total control you can do a lot more if you save the Raw file and do the conversion yourself.
For this you need software that can open your Raw file. The program that came with the camera can do it, but there are better. The best of the lot is Photoshop, but it's very expensive, there's a very capable version from the same company called Elements. For your camera you will need the up to date version of either.
There are other software developers try opening your Raw file in this one, Oloneo, currently in Beta and free to download.

Works well with just one Raw file, you'll be surprised at just what you can do when you have all the data. When your happy with your creation go to file and save as a Tiff, this will keep all your data.
All you need to know.
"RAW" does not mean anything. It is a format (like jpeg, tiff, gif, etc.)
You can create a photo in RAW by simply setting your camera up to take RAW pictures.
You can't print photos from RAW files - you have to convert them into something else (like jpeg for example).
Please read your manual - it explains all this in greater detail. Or get a book on digital photography from the library.
