What are some good, low priced DSLR cameras?

I have a Nikon D3000, but I'm thinking about selling it and getting something else slightly better. Do you know of any DSLRs that are better but around the same price range?

What you want doesn't exist. Better always costs more.

The next step up is the Nikon D3100. $700

Comparable, The Canon Rebel XS at $500. The Canon eos t1i at $750 (shoots video).
I agree, what you want doesn't exist. As stated, better is always more. Quality is never cheap.
Seems like everyone wants cheap quality but it's not there. Quality is expensive.

What is wrong with the D3000? Without knowing why you feel limited when using the D3000, we can't help you!
