What are cool photography tricks to do with nikon D3100?

I just wanted to know if there are any sites for photography tricks and tips and if you know any good photography tricks or effects to do with nikon D3100.

Have you done the standard teen shots? Multiple exposure so you're in various places in the scene. Light painting, always good.

For nikon d3100, the tips and tricks are abou the same for any other camera.
Night Scapes-Go outside at night, with very little light source set your shutter speed to about 25 seconds and aperture wide open on either a tripod or something stable and you'll get a good night time photo. If you walk into the shot you will leave ghost images aswell. If a car or bright light appears it will leave a light trail. Water will become ethereal in the shot.

HDR-Some people love this, others hate it, but for fun results download the trial of photomatix and take 3 pictures of the same scene with 3 different exposures and with the software you can combine them into really cool dreamy scenes. Best result have been night scapes and car shows.
