I'm in a process of buying Nikon D7000; I narrowed it down to two online retailers. Newegg vs http://www.bhphotovideo.com/...video.com/. New Egg offers 3 year extended warranty including accdiental damage, wear and tear, etc. Bhphotovideo offers 3 and 5 year extended warranty with same conditions. BHphoto is a little more expensive.
Should I go with 3 year or 5 year extended warranty? Which online retailer is more reliable from your experience?

If there's only a small difference in cost, I'd go with the five year warranty.
Bhphotovideo is a real store. Isn't Newegg sort of a middleman outfit? I've never heard of any complaints of Bh, and they've been around for years.

I have ordered from both, probably an equal number of times and I have no complaints about either.

I suggest bh over newegg just because they know exactly what they are talking about. If you were buying any laptops, computer parts, or anything of that sort, go with newegg, no hesitation

so yeah, B&H for cameras

Bhphoto is a photography store.newegg is a store for anything with a chip in it.

3 years warranty will be enough, after that it's massivly out of date and you'll be looking for a replacement camera.

It doesn't matter
once you have it repaired under the warranty
then the warranty quits working
read the fine print of the warranty
one time use only
