Hi, i'm kinda torn between which camera i should go for, i can get the d90 a lot cheaper and is apparently better but its a couple of years old now and if i have it for a couple of years would it still be a good camera or really outdated? The canon's much newer so i know i'm getting newer technology but?

I would go with the D90+ 18-105mm lens.

Reason being it's a camera that's more comfortable to hold, more ergonomic, better build quality, and has more control points on the camera body itself. In addition, the 18-105mm gives far more reach than an 18-55mm lens. The 600D has the advantage in video recording and image quality, but the differences are slight in regards to image quality.

You already know which is better. Why hold back?

Skip the D90. Save you money and get a Nikon D7000 instead. The 60D is pretty good too, but the D7000 is getting rave reviews. I'm hoping to get a D7000 myself.
