Please list down the most common known defects of the Nikon D7000?

It's more expensive than, and not as good as, the Pentax K-30.

Not reading the instruction book, always using it in full auto mode

I don't know how common it is, but it seems like Gordon's test sample had frequent autofocus errors:

I've read that the sensor can become covered in "dust spots" which translates into artifacts on your photos. I'm not sure whether this is a defect or if people do not know have a proper procedure when changing lenses as to ensure the sensor does not get exposed to a dusty environment. I would wager that chances are very high that if you do buy the D7000, you will get a perfectly functioning and capable DSRL.

The cause of most poor photographs with a D7000 is the photographer holding the camera, treating it like a point & shoot. The D7000 is an excellent camera by all professional and user reviews.
