I have Nikon D60 with 18-55mm lens, and for a half year i do street photography and i shoot a lot of portraits. For my street photography i need some better lens. I whant fast, sharp, small amd cheap lens. Is it 50mm 1.8G right lens for me?

Go through a good large sample of your shots. Look in the EXIF data to see what focal length you used.
Are a large number between 45 and 55? If so then 50 would be a good focal length.
Most between 30 and 45? A 35mm lens is for you
As for sharp, light and cheap - the 50mm f/1.8 ticks all those boxes.
