Nikon D90 owners, what shooting mode do you use the most?
Wanted to know what shooting mode should i use…
I learned many things to be able to shoot in manual mode but how can i know when the photo has good exposure when i'm on manual mode?
Plus, if i wanna do high burst shooting of some object, manual mode wouldn't work right?
Bust works just fone in manual mode. You are supposed to use the camera's internal light meter to determine proper exposure in manual mode. Sounds like you learned what manual mode is, but not really how it works…
I have a D90 and I almost always use Aperture Priority. I do go into manual when it warrants it.
There are two ways you can tell if your exposure is correct in manual mode.
1.look in the viewfinder and you will find an exposure scale across the bottom; item #21 on page 9 of your manual. If the scale is indicating the center, it is the correct exposure. If the scale is off to either side, the small tics are 1/3stop, and the large tics are 1 stop.
2. Look at the histogram. You can't do this until you take the photo, but it will tell you if the exposure is off or not.
