Nikon d7000 sequence shooting?
I invested in a Nikon D7000 yesterday. I have the AF-S Nikkor 18-105mm DX lense.
A few friends and I were trying to use the sequence shooting for skateboarding. For whatever reason, it still kept coming out very burry or twisted; the skateboard would look deformed.
Now, to start, I'm very very new to this. I'm sure it is something that is just obvious but I'm still disappointed to see that the D7000 is not good for this so far. Like I said, probably my fault. Is there something I should be doing different? And if so, how should I change it?
I had the shutter frequency set to "CH"
Flash is off
view-finder only
ISO 3200
any ideas/recommendations?
Also, any other hints/tips/tricks would be much appreciated! Thank you so much.
Added (1). I meant sequence as in this -
Is there a more proper name than that?
It is a D7000, shouldn't it be plenty quick enough?

To me it's unclear what you mean with with sequence shooting.
Deformed. That lens deforms on 18mm but since skaters insist on fisheye lenses that shouldn't be a problem. Blurry, the shutter speed is too low.
Get to grips with photography basics, shutter speed aperture and iso should be clear to you. There's a ton of books, websites and youtube vids for that.
OK, here we go. I'm a skater and I shoot professionally so I know what you need to do. Your shutter speed is really important here. You want to be at 1/500 or higher. If possible go to 1/1000. Set your camera to S unless you want to go fully manual. If you set to S, just set your shutter speed to 1/500 and your camera will pick the aperture (lens opening). If the camera says LO, then you need more light and the only thing you can do is raise your ISO since you do not want to shoot at a slower shutter speed. Raise the ISO in one click increments until you get an exposure. The higher the ISO the worse the noise and the pictures won't look so hot. Your camera needs to be set on CH for the motor to shoot at it's fastest. Hopefully you have good SD cards because they influence how fast your camera can write to the card and this affects how fast you can shoot continuously. Cards are cheap, buy the fastest one you can.
Now here's the one downside to the D7000, you need to shoot it manual focus because the stupid camera won't fire unless it thinks it's in focus. I own one as a back up for stills and I use it for filming motion (Great for movie making) but the stupid camera has that one little quirk about the focusing. Just set the button to M down by the lens release button.
Do not shoot flash, the flash can't recycle fast enough. Your pictures should be fine if you follow my instructions. If you have any problems, just re-post.
