Nikon d7000 and 18-200 mmVR fine tune?

I have a d7000 and my main lens is a 18-200mm VR from nikon… Do i need to "AF fine tune" this lens and camera?

if so what settings are best?

Probably not unless you are finding that the lens is not performing well, giving you sharp images.

I have never experienced any of my Nikkor lenses from the 1970's to present. I have used them on Nikon F4's, D3, D300, D200 and others.

You can spend the money for a Lens Align Pro Focus Calibration System and Long Ruler Kit if you like, but unless you have reason to believe that your focus points are off, you may want to save your money and buy more memory cards or something
