Nikon D7000 14-24mm or Canon 7D 24-70mm?
Which Lens is sharper? Which camera and lens is overall amazing? And if you can compare the two that would be amazing. For mainly Portraits, Fashion and Landscape.
Portraits and fashion, absolutely the 24-70mm.
For landscape, it depends what kind of view you can get. Often the 14-24mm could be better. I don't agree that super wide angle is always best for landscapes. It can give you big empty foregrounds and tiny little mountains.
The Nikon 14-24mm 2.8 is without a doubt one of the best if not the best super wide angle on the market, though it might not be best for portrait or fashion, you should try to use a focal above 50mm to avoid distortion.
The 24-70mm 2.8 is also a great choice for portrait & fashion, you can do some landscape but because of the crop factor you will get 38mm, the nikon 14-24 should give you 21mm.
As for the two camera, both are good choice, you just have to decide if you go wide or not.
Now if you could get a 5D MarkII + the 24-70, the lens would cover everything you want since there's no crop factor.
Have fun making your choice!
Since you have to ask, you don't need either of those cameras or lenses
Since you don't know that Nikon's 14-24 is one of their sharpest WAs ever, you don't need a 14-24.
"Which camera and lens is overall amazing?" Wow.
All you need is a Rebel T4i w/ an 18-55 kit lens or a Nikon D3200 w/ an 18-55 kit lens.
