Nikon D40 takes weird, blurry, purple photos?
I will admit I dropped the camera hard on the ground, and after that, the camera will still take photos, but they are blurry, unfocused, they come out looking purple and yellow and they're all funky any weird, the pictures have spots on them sometimes like there's dust and dirt inside, I'm not sure what the problem though is still, any help?
Obviously the drop had something to do with it.
you can't change it. It is time to get it fixed completely which may up costing more then the camera itself or get a new one.
Rule No.1 about DSLR cameras: Use neckstrap. Even if you are just taking one picture, the first thing you should ALWAYS do, ALWAYS, before you do ANYTHING else, is put on the neck strap.
Once you drop the camera, you can basically kiss it good-bye
Well imagine that… A camera that's been dropped doesn't work - who would have thought?
Be smart about this. Get it fixed and buy a neck strap. It's always dumb to use any camera with out at least a wrist strap - ya think?
My camera doesn't even leave its bag unless that strap is around my neck.
