Nikon SLR Cameras

All of my photos shot on the Canon have turned purple

My aunt is a real estate agent, and I've taken a year of photography, so she asked me to help her shoot photos of the house she's selling. I've only used a canon a few times before, and never extensively. My main camera is a Nikon D3100.
Her camera is almost brand new, she's used it a few times before. The pictures look completely fine when viewed in the camera, and for a moment after I copied them into my computer, they looked fine as well. Then, a few seconds after I open them, a purple hue covers everything. It's as if I put a clear purple piece of plastic over my lens when I was shooting.
I don't have the camera with me, I live almost 40min away from her. But none of the settings were altered. I shot in RAW, under Program, the files are CR2, the white balance seems to be fine, and I don't know why this is happening. Can someone help me please?

Added (1). I live in SoCal so it's a little bit desert like here, but not nearly enough to do anything this dramatic O:
& the pictures turned out fine when viewed in the camera, so I don't think it was anything external

Did you take pictures in the desert? Not sure if related, but some of my pics from Iraq have a pink hue over them if taken in the day.

Open them in a different picture editor or on a different computer.
I expect there's a weird RAW processing glitch.

Some RAW converters work very poorly with Canon.cr2 files. Borrow her CD and install Canon Digital Photo Professional. That has very limited editing, but it will do great conversion of your files to.jpg.
