Nikon D3000 Help! Buttons Froze/Locked?

My Nikon D3000's GUIDE and playback feature doesn't work and neither does delete. When I switch it to guide it's all black and it seems as if none of the buttons really do anything. I can Manualy focus and zoom and take a picture but thats about it.

Check the manual that came with it.

Have you tried taking the battery out to see if that would reset it? Or just going into settings and pushing reset? If nothing works I suggest bringing it in. I got myself a warranty when I bought mine just in case.
