Nikon camera or new iPod?

I need a new iPod since I have the old 2nd gen iPod touch with only 16gb. I only have about 1gb left on it and really want to upgrade to the new 32gb. But I also want a Nikon D5100 camera.So, I really can't decide. I'm thinking maybe the Nikon since I have an iPod and all I use it for is music, but I also want a new iPod since it would be cheaper than that Nikon. The Nikon would be about $750 and a new iPod would be $300.So please put in your 2 cents, thanks.

I think you should get a new iPod! The new versions have cameras, and of course thats not a real camera but you will get to use it and listen to music also.

If it were me, it would be a slam dunk for the Camera in that price range, because I'm into photography that could use the lenses I have now, with or without an adapter.

The iPod Touch would not be something I would think about getting if I wanted to take pictures.
Now if you want to save up later for one device or the other, and you are not really into photography, I'd get the IPT first and save up for the camera, or wait for the camera to come down in price as newer models come out.
