My yong rf-603n triggers are not firing my b400?

Need some guidance in dumb downed terms. I'm brand new to mono lights and have my old yongnuo triggers that'd I used to fire my yongnuo flash. I ordered and received my alien bees b400 and am now trying to fire it but the triggers don't seem to be working. The pc sync cord that the light came with isn't comparable with my Nikon d3200 so I can't simply just use that. I have the trigger on my hot shoe mount and it is connected to my camera. I understand that the light is built with an in sync motor to pick up most transmitters so I'm confused as o why its not working. Any help is appreciated.tgankyou!

No, the B400 does not have any "in sync motor to pick up most transmitters." It has no radio receiver of any kind.

Put one of your transmitters on your camera, as you've done.
Attach the other one to the B400, using the sync cord that came with the B400 (the "PC" socket end goes into the PC socket on the back of your rf603n, the mini-jack end goes into the flash). Turn both triggers/receivers on. Fire your camera. There you go.

You need one of your RF-603 configured as a transmitter on your cameras hotshoe, the other one configured as a receiver, both on the same channel, then you need the sync lead from the RF-603 receiver to the Alien Bee's 1/4" sync socket. The RF-603's just get rid of the cable.

The wireless function is for tripping other Alien Bee's from the one connected to your camera.

A cheaper option then the RF-603's is a hotshoe to PC adapter some have the 1/8th in jack plug connector too. Then you can use the supplied lead.

It's Manual all the way with these there's no TTL.
