My Nikon D60 Auto Focus

I love my Nikon D60.It's just lately when I try to take a photo with Auto Focus the lens keep squeaking and not wanting to take a photo? Any ideas on how to fix this?

Since the autofocus is in the lens, it is the lens that has a problem

now if it is the kit 18-55mm, it would be cheaper just to get a new, or even used lens
