My camera screen has gone black?

I have a nikon D3200, it is brand new. I turned it on, and when I press the camera button it takes a picture. But the screen is completely black. I've pressed the display pictures button and its black. I've pressed all the buttons and it has gone black. However, when I took the memory card out, the screen works, and its on, but it says no memory card on the screen. Thats all I get out of my screen. Please Please help. It cost a lot of money, and I need help!

Your first clue should have been that it says there's no memory card.

What that means is that either you did not format the card using the format feature on the camera or the card is defective.

If there's a problem with the camera (you can test it by inserting a different memory card and formatting it), your camera is under warranty and Nikon will take care of the problem. You only need to call them and find out what they want to you do. 800. NIKON-UX
