Mirror picture tips? For a nikon d3100?

This may seem simple but i'm having a hard time getting the outcome i want
i'm trying to take a picture, where my back is turned away from the mirror
so that you can see me+my reflection//my back simultaneously…
any tips?
i've tried a tiny bedroom mirror, but there was no success so i went
into the bathroom and tried a bigger one and it's still not turning out right…

Try to big mirrors facing each other, then stand in-between.
