Kako-auto 3000 (vintage flash) what is the trigger voltage?
I've been searching for weeks but I failed. It seems the manufacturer is no longer to be found. No manual etc. I' just want to know if it is safe to use it on my nikon d5000 and won't fry my cam that I've learned earlier.
Sadly that flash is not listed here;

Do you have the flash? If so, you can measure it using a multimeter, instructions here;
http://www.botzilla.com/photo/g1strobe.html
(about a third of the way down the page).
If not, best steer clear - there are plenty of voltage safe cheap manual flashes about.
DB2 gave you the same advice I would for determining the trigger voltage.
The only thing I would add is that you can use a "safe-sync" like http://www.bhphotovideo.com/...oe_to.html to ensure the older flashes don't fry a new camera.
I have kako auto-3000, just pm me if anyone wnt to buy
