Is there anyone who could help us with a Nikon D70 camera?

Just bought one, got a new memory card and it won't take a pic.

Fish the manual out of wherever it might have been tossed. Read it.

Could be anything - is the battery charged?

Make sure the battery's fully charged, and while you're waiting, download the manual from Nikon (it's free, but you'll need a pdf reader like Adobe Acrobat or Foxit).
