Is the Sigma 105mm f/2.8 EX DG Medium Telephoto Macro Len good?

Guest
I want a macro lens for insects, flowers, etc. Is this a good choice of lens? I have a Nikon D60 so I know it will not autofocus. I also want to shoot at 1:1
Reviews? Anyone use this lens on a D60 before?

It's very good. So is the tamron 90mm and that comes in a motorized version for your d60.

It's a superb lens - tack sharp. One of the best third party macro lenses out there. I don't have one (I have the Sigma 50mm f2.8) but a friend has one & he gets great results with it.
It is a true macro (1:1).
