Is the Olympus OM-D E-M5 really worth it?
How would you look at the camera say to something closely priced such as the Nikon D7000?
How different is it?
What is your opinion?
If you are not a profesional and doesn't want to carry heavy dslr,
Olympus is the only way. Its a very disruptive technology now.
mirrorless, EVF. Check on youtube.everybody saying soon there won't be entry level dslr.
check canon t4i with the new mirrorless canon eos m.basically eos m is t4i in mirrorless form. All inards such as sensor and touch capabilities are the same.
but Olympus now still king.alongside Sony nex 7 and panasonic gh3, nikon 1.
it can do up to 15 frames per second.entry dslr only do 3, except 7000 dollar dslr could do 10fps.
Olympus able to create amazing result and make everything lighter and smaller.
if you never gone pro, this is a way to go.
i'm even fearing the canon L lenses will in the future becomes smaller like olympuses.
I don't think any EVIL camera is worth it.
They should sell them in pink with stick-on spangles for teenage girls to look cool - not as serious kit.
People talk about EVIL cameras replacing rangefinders, but rangefinders were serious cameras for serious photographers - not toys.
