Is the nikon d60 part of the f series slrs?

Zoe
I'm looking at buying an adapter for my nikon d60 but it states that "Mount is compatible with the Nikon F Series SLRs" how do i find out if it is part of the "f" series?

Amazing what you can find if you use some skills:

Jeroen Wijnands
F series mount, which is indeed compatible as a quick google would have told you, usually means it contains no electronics in the mount. On a D60 that means you can only use the device when you're shooting in full manual mode.

Nick
Yes, fully compatible. Have fun adapting your AIS lenses.
