Is Nikon D90 still a good camera? - 1

I'm going to buy a DSLR in a few months and it's going to be my first one. I was thinking about D7000 but I realized that i can't afford it, so I decided to go with the D90. But it was first released in 2008, so it is a bit old. Is it still a good camera or should go with the D7000? Or do you have any other recommendations for a beginner?

I'm a beginner and I use a D5000. My friend has a D7000 and he loves it. D90 is a little advanced for a beginner, I'd say.

Any dslr manufactured by either Canon or Nikon will always be a good camera.

Sometime choice become what you can get not what you want.

but the best thing would be be confident on your self.trust your ability to do good photography.

upto iso 1600 most of them are equal. So nothing special with those pricey body.getting satisfaction with what you can have is the best way to go otherwise you will always be uncomfortable with what you have, even if it be a nikon d7000

It is a good camera

Concentrate more on the lenses than on getting the best body for your camera.

The D90 will be good for your needs.
