Is it easy to manual focus a lens that isn't auto focus on Nikon D3000?
Added (1). Can you use a manual focus lens on a Nikon D3000

The D3000 doesn't have a meter built into it so you have to guess at the exposure but yes, you can use a manual lens on the body or use a Gossen Digisix shoe-mounted light meter.

Dunno what Black B is on about - the D3000 has a perfectly good light meter! It'll meter just fine with Nikkor AF lenses.
Manual focusing is a technique you get used to - us photographers who shot with film SLR's back in the day had to manual focus all our lenses - no such thing as autofocus.
