I want to create photo albums with AMAZING photos

This might sound stupid, but I want to create photo albums with AMAZING photos in Flickr. The thing is, I don't know how people take those amazing shots. I have a Nikon D3000 and I seriously don't know what to capture. I know most of the rules (such as the golden ratio, rule of thirds and depth of field). I live in a small town in Denmark, where there's nothing to shoot! No inspiration, nothing! And when I get a good shot, it just looks like everything else!

Try and think of creative ways to capture something that may seem boring or uninspiring. For example, an extreme close-up of an object, a plant/flower, animal, or someone's eye perhaps?
Also, if there are no street lights where you live, use a tripod and point it up to the night's sky. Then use a remote to set the exposure time for 10minutes. The end result is a picture full of stars.

Also try and remember; photography is art-the more creative and inventive you are the better the picture and the effect it will have.

To do anything well takes lots of practice. Shoot every day and you will get there. Good photographers do not "take" good pictures they "make" good pictures. Write 20-30 self assignments on slips of paper and draw them one at a time from a hat, if you are not satisfied with the outcome of your "assignment" throw the slip back into the hat and try again. Possibilities include pets, girls, boys, playtime, happy, sad, life, death, faith, cars, abstract, closeups, etc.

There are things to shoot All OVER THE WORLD! And in your own back yard and even in your home - if you are just imaginative and creative…

and learn to use your camera first… Read the manual…

and read information in magazines and on websites…

I have no idea what a small village in Denmark looks like. Things that you take for granted might be amazing to me. Why not record the lifestyle?
