I need advice on what camera to buy?
I'm not trying to be a photographer but I'm really into fashion and i like to take pictures of myself and friends. I'm planning on buy a 15.1MP Canon Rebel. When it comes to cameras' is the more megapixels the better? Or is it about the optical zoom or something. I'm pretty much set on the Canon Rebel, but I have my eye on a Nikon D3000, or just a 14MP Canon Powershot. But all i really need to know is if a camera is better because of megapixels.
If you want a good DSLR camera for a good price forget the Canon junk and get a Nikon D60
Megapixels do not matter. They only matter if you do extreme cropping or extreme photoshopping. In some cases, pictures with less megapixels will turn out better.MP only dictates the largest size print you can make without it being bad.
Would you mind actually telling us what model camera you were looking at?
because the best value DSLR camera is the Nikon D3100 which has 15 (?)mp and HD video. It costs $700.
now canon v nikon. Neither wins, they are both great. Either way you go, you will be happy.
I personally prefer Nikon D3000 10.2MP Digital SLR Camera which is really good. It performs well than other you choose. Really it helps you…
* 10.2megapixel CCD sensor
* 11-point autofocus system,
* Fast response, Guide mode,
* 3-inch TFT,
* 3 fps continuous shooting allows you to capture fast-moving action at 3 frames per second
