I'm don't know what camera to get?

Hey guys I'm looking at the Nikon d5100 camera but I want to be sure that I'm getting the best for my money. Any other suggestions will be great
Btw I'm a newish photographer but I have had other cameras

Everyone is just going to try and sell you on their own brand of choice. The best for your money is the camera that you have tried out and like and will enjoy taking pictures with. If you like the D5100 best that's what you should get. Nikon and Canon models are all basically the same for equivalent models and it comes down to personal preference. Sony and Pentax offer a little more diversity. You should try out the equivalent models from other brands if you haven't yet and then make your decision - Canon EOS T2i or T3i, Sony a55 or a65 and Pentax k-r.
