You keep asking the same question. You keep failing to tell us which of the three 70-300 zoom lenses. Nikon has made three:
70-300/4-5.6 G - that's a cheap lenses giving cheap performance
70-300/4-5.6 D ED - lot better lens
These two are out of production. They don't autofocus on your D3000.
AF-S 70-300/4.5-5.6 G IF-ED VR Is still in production, autofocusses on your D3000 and is a fine lens especially if you consider the price.
