I have a nikon d40 and want to sell it?
After the lens breaking, I was wondering how much I could get with just the body. I have the original box and charger and all. So could someone tell me a good price to sell it for? Maybe £70? Or is that to cheap.
That's too cheap. I'd look over eBay for d40 cameras. I think you'll find lots of them. Just base your price on your camera's condition and its age relative to the cameras you see on eBay.
Good Luck
By the way I'm told the D40 is an excellent camera. Why not just replace the lens. By the way, what happened to the lens?
NORMALLY, lenses don't just "break". Something causes the lens to break (being dropped, smacked into a wall, being used as a hammer, etc), and if that is the case there may be damage to the camera itself. Take it to your local camera shop and ask what they would give you for it.
Or just buy a new lens.
If the camera is undamaged and you have all the accessories ( minus the lens), you should be able to get minimum $200 US.
