I'm looking for a digital camera?

I'm in desperate need of a digital camera. I would love to buy the nikon D3200 but I can afford it at the time. I need a very good camera that will take clear shots of moving features. Focus is optional. Needs to be under 300-350$. Any ideas?

"Focus is optional"!

Focus is absolutely essential on any camera or all you get is a blurr!

Most all cameras have a "sport" mode or something of the sort that bumps up the shutter speed and allows you to freeze a moving object. If you want to be able to manually control this, it will take careful selection within your budget. Go for a camera that has a manual mode, which will allow you to control the speed settings. And don't buy a camera that shoots huge HD video unless you need it. That is pricey.

For your budget I would suggest Canon PowerShot SX260 HS 12.1MP, 20x Optical zoom and 1080p HD Video, Smart AUTO with 58 predefined shooting situations.

Another best advance point and shoot cameras please consider Canon SX40 HS, Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-HX100V.

Nikon D3200 24.2 MP CMOS Digital SLR with 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 AF-S DX VR NIKKOR Zoom Lens is a wonderful camera for the price. While it looks almost the same as the D3100 on the outside, it's a whole new camera on the inside. Greatly improved video. Various feature improvements that I'm sure everyone knows about, and of course, a 24 megapixel sensor. My biggest concern when deciding to buy this camera was noise - however, Nikon has done a great job on this sensor coupled with the new Expeed 3 processor. Noise is LESS than with the D3100 and it "only" has 14 megapixels. It is MUCH better with noise than the otherwise fantastic Sony A65, also with a 24mp sensor (and better than the A77 as well). Dynamic range is better than the D3100 as well.
