How to shoot video on the Nikon d3100?

I just got a Nikon d3100, but can't figure out how to get to video mode. Is there a button/setting I need to go to?
Sorry for the dumb question, I know the answer is probably staring me right in the face xD

Yeah. Just hit that big red button next to the right of the screen to start recording.

It would be staring you in the face if you'd bother to crack the owner's manual and do a little research.

How difficult can it really be? Your brand new camera came supplied with a VERY informative Reference Manual (either in paper form or on the CD that came with your camera).
So… Have you even remotely thought of looking in it for the answer? In the Index (at the back) under the letter… M, you will find the word… Movies, which will direct you to to page that shows you how to record movies. Amazingly simple.
