How to setup instant viewing for a DSLR?

I have a Nikon D3200 and I'd like to setup instant viewing so my photos will appear on an ipad or laptop during the photo shoot. I'd like to know how to do this with a wire attached to my computer and wirelessly if possible.

If you want to do it wirelessly you need the Eye-Fi SD card and to be within range of a Wi-Fi network;

If you want to shoot 'tethered', then you can use this free software;

Adobe Lightroom offers tethered shooting with a number of Nikon models, but sadly not the D3200.

Nikon sells a Wi-Fi add-on module:

This is called tethering. Here is one solution.

If such a thing is possible, it will be outlined in the camera manual.
