How to set up multiple exposures on canon EOS?

I asked earlier about nikon d3000… But I decided to use the canon EOS… I want to ask how can i set up multiple exposures on it manually… About the specific measurements… I'm very new to this and I would really really appreciate the help… Its my senior design studio… Thank uuu

You are going to have to be far more specific than "Canon EOS". Are you talking about a 35mm film camera? What model? Does the camera have a switch for multiple exposure? We need to know this type of thing for any kind of worthwhile answer on the camera aspects.

As for exposure settings, the easiest way to approach this is to increase the ISO by one stop for each extra exposure. In other words, if you are using ISO 100 film and want to make a double exposure, set the camera to ISO 200. This prevents overexposing the film with the two photos. If you were going to make a triple exposure, you would set the ISO to 400. Remember, you DOUBLE the ISO number for each stop. Again, for instance, if you were using ISO 400 film and wanted a double exposure, you would set the camera to meter at ISO 800. If you wanted to make a triple exposure, you would set the ISO to 1600. All that assumes you will be using the in camera meter. In reality, you are always better off to use an external ambient light meter.
