How to record on a D3200 nikon camera?

How do you record something on this camera? I have to do a spanish project and record myself. I see there's a red button but i press it and nothing is recording Help

Before pressing the red button you need to select live view.

Live view is represented by Lv on your camera. It's on the back with the letters Lv in a small box.
