How to make photography my career?
Ok so I'm 13 years old and would like to be a photographer and work at one of my local camera shops I'm going into high school and was wondering what would be some helpful classes to take to help me in what I want to become please help me I know it is hard to become a pro photographer but what are some tips you have I only own the Nikon d3100 with a flash battery grip a couple of lenses and other a acceroies I know that is not good enought to be a pro photographer but I have no job but I like keeping up with new things in photography and just like helping people in photography so it is my dream job to work at a photography store is this a good enought dream
Take all the photo classes you can in school, then maintain a good GPA do a couple after school clubs, then when you get out of highschool go to a nice University and get a major in Art
As long as it is your dream, it is a good enough dream.
The key to photography is constant learning. I break it up into two parts, the camera and composition. The camera is the tool, and you need to know how to use it blindfolded. The next part may be called composition. This is at least 95% art, so learn all you can about art. One place to start is online. Try one or more of these sites.
