How to film from first person?

I want to film a scene from a first person POV i also want to include blinking as if the person blinked their eyes to make it more realistic. I have a nikon d3100 how can i do it?

Rent or buy the old Humphrey Bogart movie "Dark Passage". The first half of the movie is done in first person. It is a beautiful, text book example of how to do it correctly.

FORGET the blinking idea. Sorry, that is absurd, will drive any viewer nuts, and will RUIN your film. That will NOT reflect reality. Think now, is your vision constantly going completely black every few seconds? Of course not. We blink so fast that what we see is not interrupted unless we close our eyes purposely for a period of time.
