How to take pictures that look like this? - 1
I have a Nikon d80, and I would love to take photos that look like this. What settings would be best?

The pictures are so crystal clear and pretty.>.>
I think a canon
I think it's just a very nicely lit photo. I don't think the photographer used a flash a reflector or any other lighting for that matter.
She's obviously in a well lit room. There's a large light source above & slightly to the right which is also reflecting off the opposite wall & filling in any shadows. Its a high key shot (it's also a tad overexposed - the highlights are blown on her white shirt further down).
What setting you need depend on how much light you've got, but I'd suggest spot metering. Shoot manual or aperture priority. Depth of field is relatively shallow (so probably an aperture of f4-f5.6) and it looks like there might be a little distortion - lens might be a little too wide and the photographer was standing fairly close.
Shutter speed would then be adjusted using the light meter for maybe a third of a stop over exposure.
- Do you think touch screen cameras like the Nikon D5600 make cameras like the Nikon D5 look like 70's computers without the mouse?
