How to join my 18-55mm and 70-300mm lenses for Nikon D3100?
I would like to know how can I join these 2 lenses mentioned above?
Added (1). Or else tell me how can I join any 2 lenses!
That isn't going to work.
Sorry, Not going to happen. It's one or the other.
You will need a 52mm to 62mm step-up ring and a 62mm Macro Coupler (its a 62mm to 62mm male fitting). Screw the 52mm to 62mm into the front of your 18-55mm lens and use the 62mm Macro Coupler to attach your two lenses front element to front element.
It just doesn't work like that.
You can't. Just does not work that way. On some zoom lenses you can use a teleconverter which will increase the apparent focal length but you can't screw one lens onto another.
@Edwin: Well I stand corrected. And reading the blurb I see the point, sort of.
Get yourself an Nikkor 18-300mm f3.5-5.6 lens. It is the ultimate travel lens! But it is expensive.
Photographers do not join lenses, in general. What are you trying to do?
