Good flash for Nikon D80?

I have a Nikon D80 and I'm looking to buy a flash. I have heard that the SB600 is a good place to start?

SB700 will be your best bet. The SB600 is no longer made.

You can get sb600s for cheap on ebay or craigslist and they're great or you could get a sb700 which is a little better but more expensive.
